bizarre wedding dress

designers are always looking for something new and different in their collection. especially, whenever he/she design a wedding dress. here are 7 unique materials that used for making a wedding dress. which one do u like the most? or maybe it looks weird?

1. This wedding dress is made from toilet paper. not only looks so nice but also cheap.

2. This unique wedding dress is made from woven bamboo. woven bamboo usually used for making   a handmade basket and so on. 

3. balloon! just imagine what would happen if the balloons are burst?

4. this dress is made from cake. the collaboration between wedding dress and wedding cake.

5. gorgeous wedding dress made from light. Looks so elegant and romantic 

6. this wedding dress is made from condoms. so disgusting!

7. last.. this wedding dress is made from money. wow.. everybody wants it 

Singapore Art Museum

Today I have visited Singapore Art Museum. There are a lot of amazing artwork with thousand different materials used. Here is some wonderful artwork that I love the most.  

The title of this artwork is "project another country". This artwork is made from cargo boxes and woods. The re-purpose of the cardboard utilised is arranged to resemble a shanty town perched unsteadily on a wooden boat, suggesting the precarity of homes and of "home", which leads to the necessity for change and journeying. 

This artwork titled "The Exquisite Pirate". The materials used are painted canvas and fabric, metal, embroidery, various collage elements and pins. This artwork is inspired by the female pirate as a means of describing and imagining other ways to navigate, to map, and to see the world.

This is my favourite artwork in Singapore Art Museum. The title of this artwork is "offshore Accounts-1". It is made from C-print and diasec. Diasec is the registered trademark for the original method of face-mounting prints, such as photographs on acrylic sheet. Offshore Accounts-1 presents a monumental, monochromatic seascape which appears to float off the wall.

Pricing and Packaging

PRICING AND PACKAGING
Many product providers may think that the product and its performance is more important than what the packaging looks like, but the product packaging can play a role in the success or failure of the sales of the product.
Here are some products sold in cold storage. I saw several products that actually it was same but it has different prices. Why? after looking around for many products in cold storage, I've already found the answer, why it has the different price. because some have more interesting packaging than the others. that's why I said that artistic and good packaging has an important role in selling products.

the are same products of jasmine rice, once has very simple packaging, without any interesting color or design. the logo also looks very old. on the other side, the second product has interesting red color packaging with more interactive and well-organized design. The second product looks more high quality than the first product, so the product provider is not afraid to set prices higher.

same mocha frappuccino but the Starbucks one is SGD4.30 more expensive than Nescafe. i have ever drink these two before, and the taste both also nice and there is no big difference. Nescafe is cheaper than Starbucks because Starbucks packaging is using bottle than Nescafe only using can, Starbucks bottle looks very nice and more elegant than Nescafe, furthermore Starbucks logo also nice and famous, so people never think twice to buy Starbucks than Nescafe although it is more expensive

the first cashew nut has more interesting packaging. it shows the real roasted cashew nut, so it looks more delicious and attracts buyers. the contrast of color also good, attractive and the design looks well-organized. the design of the second cashew nut is boring. the color looks monotone and I think it is not really matched to use in food packaging.

Our Creative Thinking Project

MY FIRST DATE

our group consists of 3 people. Kenny, Dio, and I. This project is quite interesting and we want to show you about our experience in making this project.
First thing first, we took 15 pictures that the lecturer gave us the clue. We ran, we asked someone, and we bought something.

This is Kenny with a beautiful girl near Bras Basah MRT station. that time, we are very confusing to ask someone to pose with Kenny.

and this is our 6 dollar ice cream! what an expensive project!

After finished took 15 photos, we made a creative story using these 15 photos. we were required to make a creative story and put it in the video. then, we made a video titled MY FIRST DATE. 

we had some struggle in the making of this video. first, Kenny's laptop is broken until now. so, we decided to use mine. I only have iMovie but accidentally it couldn't work because of some problem. after that, we tried to download adobe premier. unluckily, it was 11pm. Kenny and Dio went home, I couldn't use adobe premier. we stressed out. we didn't know what to do...

 

The deadline was coming. we told the truth to the teacher. she said that no matter what, we should be done the video that day. 

No choice! we tried to make the video using iMovie on my phone. we were making the video in the class when the teacher was teaching about new exercise. yaahhh.. finally, we had done the video. Big thanks to my phone, the video isn't bad and the teacher likes it.
